I�ve been using SoCal Suds & Company�s Castile Soap for a bit now and it�s become a nice, gentle addition to my shower and handwashing routine. I went for the peppermint scent, and it�s just right�not overpowering, but still refreshing enough to feel energizing. The soap is thick, almost gel-like, so I did add a bit of water to thin it out before using it in my dispenser, which worked perfectly. It doesn�t lather as much as the more commercial soaps I�ve used, but it still cleans thoroughly and leaves my skin feeling fresh without drying it out. What I really like about this soap is that it doesn�t strip my skin, especially since I tend to have dry patches. It�s made with organic oils, including coconut oil, which sounds great. I didn�t notice a huge moisturizing boost, but certainly no irritation or agitation, which is common for me. I really appreciate the company�s commitment to natural, non-toxic ingredients. The packaging could use a little work�the two-pack came in a zip-top bag, which isn�t ideal for a more premium feel, and the bottle seal on one of the bottles was loose. I�m planning on using it as a refill for a pump bottle to make things a bit easier for my kitchen sink setup. So far, it�s been a good, non-irritating choice for everyday hand washing and showers.
