I have a friend who will have baby soon, so this would be the perfect gift to give her. This arrived in a ziplock bag that contained the two bottles inside. Did not leak or break during shipping process. I opened one of the bottle up to smell the cleansing form, and it smells quite gentle, but has obvious lavender scent to it. If this is natural lavender essential oil added, it's nice and light, but I am not sure if it is ok to be used on newborn baby. I think it foams out like the foaming facial cleanser because of the bottle and the way the liquid is formulated, which cleans gently and is ok to use on babies.

The babies in our extended family seem to have sensitive skin issues, so when they come to visit, I like to have gentle and good quality baby shampoos and washes on hand for the little ones. I had pretty good luck with some other baby skincare products from SoCal Suds & Company, so I was excited to try this foaming baby wash. It has a fairly nice lavender scent, but the rosemary is also quite noticeable. I wasn't sure if I was actually going to like it, but it's growing on me. The foam dispenser pump does a nice job, and seems to function properly. I tried this as a hand soap, and I was pleased with how well it cleansed without leaving my skin irritated or overly dry. It also just leaves a light fresh scent on the skin. We will have company coming next month, and I will have a couple of my nieces try this wash at bath time. If I have any further insights or feedback to share at that time, I�ll be sure to update this review. So far, though, in trying on myself, I think it performs well, and I�m hoping it will turn out to be a good option for our little ones.

It definitely has lavender scent added, I wouldn't use it on babies or pets because of that. Their skin is way more sensitive, and essential oils can result in increased sun sensitivity, or skin irritation. As for pets, essential oils shouldn't be inhaled by them, as they can lead to respiratory problems, this includes not just shampoos, but also perfumes, diffuses, scented candles people use near their pet. Please keep your little ones safe! This body wash would work nicely for adults, it foams well and doesn't seem to dry the skin much. The smell is strong, but it fades away after rinsing off.

I�ve been using this 2-in-1 organic baby shampoo and body wash for my newborn, and I�m really impressed with how gentle it is. I know this is baby soap, but having super sensitive skin I am more than happy to use it even though I'm not a baby. This soap is very gentle and it most certainly did not irritate my skin. It has that typical castille soap smell which I like very much. It's a little awkward to use it right out of the container since it has a wide opening, so I need to think of something with a smaller opening to put it in. The container came very well protected with an inner seal. Also, the container itself is very nice, looks like a keeper. The fact that this is organic is a big plus to me and after using this and seeing how gentle this is, I would warmly recommend it.
