I'm always looking for new body wash, and I was excited to see SoCal Suds & Company Hand & Body Wash on Amazon. I ordered the Peppermint variety; it contains organic sunflower and coconut oils (something I always check) as well as a few other clearly listed ingredients, including organic shea butter. There is no added fragrance other than two varieties of peppermint essential oil. My large jug had a safety seal, which I appreciated - spilled soap is never fun!The texture is thick and glossy, and it lathers well. When rinsed, your skin has a "squeaky clean" feel rather than one that is moisturized and smooth. My skin felt clean and smelled like a peppermint after using this product. I did not experience any discomfort or irritation.Many body washes and personal care products advertise as though they are natural and pure, but a brief check of their ingredients list shows that those products are misrepresenting themselves. However, SoCal Suds is NOT a product like that. Their product ingredient list is clean, organic, and very straightforward. I appreciate the honesty in this product, and find that it performs well.For a total of 128 ounces for (at the time of this review) the cost of $59.99, I feel that that is a good value and very reasonable considering the ingredients included. This container will last a long time - which is good, because we go through body wash in my house! I would absolutely order this product again.
I love this soap. Multipurpose uses. Non-toxic. Pleasing peppermint scent. Leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized. I put it in a foaming hand pump bottle and its amazing for regular hand washing. I would highly recommend this soap and will get more when I need it. AAA+ two thumbs up!!!
The socal suds hand and body wash was a nice addition to our home. The product comes in a 128oz ( 1 gallon) plastic jug with a spin off lid. Easily pourable into smaller soap dispensers around the house. I added a pump dispenser to mine for ease of use. The product itself lathes well and provided me with a clean feel on my hands and a scent that wasn’t overbearing or last too long. Product is labeled as vegan, cruelty free, and certified organic. Has fewer ingredients than most hand soaps/body washes which I like.
I would recommend this as a hand soap. It is thick and rich, makes a great lather, smells really good and leaves my hands feeling soft. This is perfect for the Christmas holidays. Every time I use it, as a hand soap, I think of Christmas. It is 128 ounces, so will last a very long time.The label says it can also be used for the body, face, pets, shaving and more. As a body wash or face wash, that would be a no. The issue I had was, once it hit my private area, it burned as products containing mint will do. For this same reason, I would not recommend using it on a pet or your face. I don't know why it didn't occur to me before showering with it that it could be an issue.
I was questioning to get this because it’s soooo much to not like the way it smells. It’s a very mild peppermint scent. I feel like it drys my hands out when I use it. I can find maybe a different way to use it because there’s so much of it.
