I got this SoCal Suds & Company peppermint hand & body soap in a 128 oz size to use to refill the soap dispensers in my kitchen and shower. The soap has a fairly thick consistency and lathers well. I have used it both as a hand soap and a body wash and it works well for both purposes. As a hand soap, it works well for counteracting any scents that might stick to my hands from cooking, and as a body wash, it leaves me feeling clean and refreshed with its strong peppermint fragrance. It is advertised as a face wash but I generally do not use anything that is advertised as also a hand/body wash on my face since they tend to be too harsh on my face. At this bulk size, it offers some savings compared to purchasing smaller sized soap containers from the store and has less plastic waste, but it isn't necessarily significantly cheaper. However, for the overall quality I think it is good value for its price.

The jug is huge so it is a very good value when you break it down to cost per ounce. I ordered the peppermint scent. Normally, I do not care for mint as a fragrance but I don�t mind it in this product because it is very light, unobtrusive, and rinses clean away. A lavender scented and an unscented option are also available. I much prefer the natural fragrance to any man-made chemical fragrance. This soap is a pale beige, opaque color. It has thickness that you would expect from a liquid soap - similar to honey. It�s not too thin or watery. I use it for just about everything! Face, body, household cleaning�etc. Works very well at lifting dirt and dissolving grime. I used it to clean a set of super dirty makeup brushes and was shocked at the result. The entire set came out looking brand new! It left the bristles softer and fluffier than the bougie brush cleaner than I was using. I also dilute some into a spray bottle with water and use it to clean around the house. Truly a wonderful, versatile, product. Would repurchase and I can easily recommend it.

I'm always looking for new body wash, and I was excited to see SoCal Suds & Company Hand & Body Wash on Amazon. I ordered the Peppermint variety; it contains organic sunflower and coconut oils (something I always check) as well as a few other clearly listed ingredients, including organic shea butter. There is no added fragrance other than two varieties of peppermint essential oil. My large jug had a safety seal, which I appreciated - spilled soap is never fun! The texture is thick and glossy, and it lathers well. When rinsed, your skin has a "squeaky clean" feel rather than one that is moisturized and smooth. My skin felt clean and smelled like a peppermint after using this product. I did not experience any discomfort or irritation. Many body washes and personal care products advertise as though they are natural and pure, but a brief check of their ingredients list shows that those products are misrepresenting themselves. However, SoCal Suds is NOT a product like that. Their product ingredient list is clean, organic, and very straightforward. I appreciate the honesty in this product, and find that it performs well. For a total of 128 ounces for (at the time of this review) the cost of $59.99, I feel that that is a good value and very reasonable considering the ingredients included. This container will last a long time - which is good, because we go through body wash in my house! I would absolutely order this product again.
